Is the Food Network Owned by Disney? Everytime I watch the Food Network Challenge there is some kind of Disney theme to it. Last time I watched it they were doing the Disney Princesses and before that one guy did a GIANT Mickey Mouse.

I have no idea, but they DO seem to do a lot of Disney themes. The Disney villain one was pretty awesome.

I know, I watched the Disney Villians Challenge, and wanted the Scar cake to win so badly, but the cake's head fell off when the judges were evaluating it, therefore eliminating it's chances to win. L.G.

I don't know, I do know Disney owns some company like ABCFamily or something really similar to that... whatever channel they always play Disney movies on a lot of times...
They do have a lot of Disney themed Challenges, which is I like and is fun, but if it is not owned my Disney, I find a little strange.

Can i make a suggestion? Why don't you email the Network and ask them why they are doing these challenges and if Disney is owned by them. it seems logical to me.

For a lot of people, some of the restaurants at Walt Disney World are as important to their vacation as going to the parks and experiencing the attractions. I'm not a foodie, but I do spend a lot of time figuring out where to eat and looking at assorted restaurants and menus for a WDW vacation. For that reason, I think that's why they're doing a Disney theme. Plus, with Disney being so recognizable by so many people, you have something that the average audience member can judge for themselves.
