well, well, well.... are you Disney fans or not? some of you don't even give it a change ! I'm gonna watch it, and after that I decide if I like it or not. simba's pride, return to neverland and jungle book 2 ar only a few examples of the sequals who turned out great ! the fox and the hound is one of my favs too ! it's so sad I'm looking forward to see the sequel.

Actually, true Disney fans wouldn't give any sequel a chance. This is what Walt Disney would have done. He would have rejected it from the start.

I am going to give this one a chance after all as I'll remain fairly open-minded about it

I'm just gonna be like Walt and be closed-minded. Actually, it's more of a principle with me. I am boycotting Disney animation since they fired all the good animators and the only traditionally animated films are cheap sequels. It has the potential to be good. However, Walt wouldn't have approved, so I will not see it. I think if it's gonna have his name on it, it should be something he would have wanted.

Gah x.x more sequels! Walt would spin in his grave. I wonder how Don Bluth would feel about it though? He worked on the original Fox and the Hound, and ultimately it was the reason he left Disney... according to records, they released a scene to theaters completely out of focus, not the camera, the film itself. Disney execs made the feeble excuse that it was an 'experiment', Don was TO'd that they'd disrespect HIS work like that. This was the last straw, so he left and made his own studio.

Oh sweet lord no... I can't believe I missed this before, but... ARGH!
I loved the original film so much... a sequel though, why?!
There is no need... FFS Disney, get some original ideas or something... I'm fast losing respect...
