I saw a trailer for this on my Incredibles DVD and wanted to find out more. Details below. Chicken Little is the first wholly computer-animated feature from Walt Disney Pictures. Sure, Disney has distributed Pixar's wildly popular CGI films and there was the ambitious Dinosaur in 2000. But there are no outside studios or live action backdrops being employed this time. More significantly, it is the first production since Feature Animation announced that they would no longer be making traditional 2-D animated works. The film takes and twists the familiar tale of Chicken Little who is convinced that the sky is falling when he sees an acorn drop to the ground. When the pint-sized Chicken Little's mistake gets out, he becomes the laughingstock of his town Oakey Oaks.
To turn his reputation for overreaction and wild imaginations around, Chicken Little joins the local baseball team. When his heroic on-the-diamond antics find him favor among the town, Chicken Little becomes reluctant to let others know his discovery that the sky really is falling. Balancing his own popularity and the safety of the world, Chicken Little, his father (Buck Cluck), and his friends (Ugly Duckling, Runt of the Litter, and Fish Out of Water) need to face the town's looming fate.Click the "Chicken Little" text right at the top of this topic to see voices and pictures for Chicken Little.

I'm looking forward to this movie. The previews for it looked really funny. And the voice cast isn't that bad either.

Out of respect for Walt's animators and traditional animation, I will not be seeing this film. It doesn't look all that great to me anyway.
