I can understand where you're coming from. ^^ Back during the time Walt was involved, villians didn't have musical numbers. So generally audiences arn't accustomed to the idea. However I can say I envision her with a song about her passion for dominance and revenge. I wouldn't find that anymore strange then Scar planning to murder his family or Frollo's desire for control. Now this got me thinking, who was the first villain to sing? Hmmm....I want to say Madame Mim from Sword in the Stone. I think it would be in Pinocchio if you count "Hi-diddle-dee" as a villain song...

I think Pride is right. I think one of the villains sang during "An Actor's Life For Me (easier for me to spell)."
I still have a hard time getting my head around a villain musical number from a Walt era film, but that's mostly because Walt's films didn't have major musical numbers like today's films.

I agree with both of you, Friends On The Other Side has got a fantastic vibe to it and Keith David performs it fantastically, I'd say well enough for it to classed as a Villainous classic in a few years time I know! I had no idea the man could sing! ;D

I've always loved My Lullaby from The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride sung by Zira

Friends on the Other Side is a great song! Keith David can play any role and make it fantastic. I ,love him as a actor. Kimmy-My Lullaby is indeed an under-rated song. I don't like it as much as Be Prepared but it's great to see a Disney sequel with substance to it.

I wasn't really a big fan of that song, compared to our classic villain songs. To be fair, I haven't watched PatF as much as others.
I do agree with Kimmy and Silver! My Lullaby is such a great (and rather inspiring, in a cynical way) song, and is very underrated.

I really love Zira's evil sounding and twisted laugh right at the end and the way she accentuates the "y" before the song finishes right at the end in a very cool and twisted Scar-esque way

Kawe-To each to their of of course. Kimmy- The actress who played Zira was incredible. (Forgot her name) I think if they gave the character more screen-time I think she could have rivaled Scar. But personally I don't think the sequel's writing was as good. So I still rank Scar higher as a villain.

A tie between "Be Prepared" and "My Lullaby". Both are great songs sung by fantastic villains. Zira is one of the better villains in the Disney sequels.
