Thank you Kaitlyn and CptJackFanGirl! I went on the Safari ride twice. Once at around 11:00. I figured the animals would be more active by that time. Turnes out I was wrong. We went on it again at 3:30, and this time we got all these amazing shots. One of the most incredible shots we managed to get was with the rhino heard! They were just crossing the road when our vehicle turned the corner. One was so close to us, if you were stupid enough you could have reached out and touched it's horn. It was unnerving having them so close. But it was awsome! I'm an animal lover to the extreme so this park was right up my alley.
For those who are wondering, the last third of the set is me taking photos of our resort. Who knew I could be so excitied about looking at palm trees? But since we don't have any in the midwest, why not? Besides it was also my parents 25th wedding anniversery. Don't they look so cute?!

Oh, you've never been to Iowa then lol. There's a hotel here that has palm trees and when winter comes they rap them up in heater blankets lol

^^ Sadly no. We don't have any in my state. But that's because most of the habitat is forest. But I loved the lush swampland surrounding my resort! It was just so beautiful, I was absorbing everything like a spunge! There were even little baby gators in nearby ponds! So cute. But we ever did see the mother. I wished we could have.

These pictures are absolutly brilliant. This is making me want my vacation so bad! One week to go! I also enjoy rockin roller coaster and pretty much ever other ride there. The pictures of the animals on the safari are gorgeous, as are the ones from the hotel.

I think the swamp land is pretty. It just depends on the area

Alexis- What can I say? I'm a dork who finds beauty in unusual places. Like the pic I have with the two giant plam trees overlooking the swamp. I can't explian why, but I find that image stunning. The green landscape with the water and the forest backdrop. This is nature at it's finest. As for not seeing mama gator. No I didn't want to actaully cross her path. And I made certain I had a good distance from the lake. But ironically another guest told my mother they had spotted her on a morning run. Apparently she was just sunbathing under a hammack. But not to worry, there were plenty of gator trappers and animal experts serching the premise everyday. Both the animals and the guest were in good hands. Mermaid_Lass- Thank you! I hope you have an excellent time on your vacation too. Have a blast like I did! Oh and bring back a ton of pics. Kailey- Thank you for the backup. (haha) You're right though. It's all in the eye in the beholder.

Or is it because of the daylight savings time and wind blowing really hard O.O? Oh well lol.

I guess when I think of swamps I think of cypress trees.. they are ok looking, but not my favorite tree. I don't really like the look of the bottom of cypress trees. I prefer palm trees. And I am glad that the experts are aware to kept the animals and guests safe

Your pictures are making me want to go! If I ever do get the chance to go to WDW, I would love the Animal kingdom. It might be the closest I'll ever get to a real African safari! Thank you for taking such nice pictures

Pride- Your welcome! And thank you for the complement. Yes Animal Kingdom is a gorgeous park! And the safari is as front and center as you can possibly get as far as I'm concerned. (Unless you're priveldeged enough to actually travel to Africa) All the animals are well cared for and seem vert content.
